Module 2: Scoli Detective
Module 2 topics:
- Understanding the emotional and psychological impact of scoliosis
- Supporting the whole person—physically, emotionally, and functionally
- Creating a supportive first-contact experience for scoliosis clients
- Conducting visual and hands-on assessments
- Using tools like scoliometer readings, diagram sketches, and dot sticker pictures
- Movement analysis: confirming pad placement, assessing proprioception, core stability, and movement quality
- Identifying and differentiating between true and functional leg length discrepancies
- Understanding fusions and safe movement rules and restrictions for fusion
